Airport Privileges means your Scapia Co-branded Credit Card gives you options at the airport based on what you need at that moment.

Here's what you can enjoy at domestic airports:

Activate Free Meal in the app, eat at any restaurant in a domestic airport, pay with your Scapia card, and get 100% back up to ₹1,000 as rewards. However, it is important to note that smaller airports may have Scapia Coins back of up to ₹500. The rewards hit your account immediately and convert to Scapia Coins on your statement date.

When does it make sense?

When you're hungry (actually hungry, not "lounge snacks will do" hungry), or when you're flying through meal times, when you want something specific.

Activate Shopping in the app, buy what you need at any domestic airport store, pay with your card, and get up to ₹1,000 back as Scapia Coins (₹500 at smaller airports). Immediate credit, same coin conversion on your statement.

When does it make sense?

When you forgot something, when duty-free prices are genuinely good, when you've got time and want to browse without guilt. Or maybe you find something that catches your eye and you want to indulge in some retail therapy!

Some airports offer spa services as a privilege option. A quick massage or treatment before a long flight can make a real difference in how you board.

Before hour-long flights or when you simply want to relax before flying.

Walk into select domestic lounges, use the Wi-Fi, grab some food and drinks, maybe take a shower if you need one. Stay for up to 2-3 hours before your flight. Generate a QR code on the app, show it at the entrance, and you're in.

If you book an international flight worth ₹50,000 or more on the Scapia app, you can enjoy ₹2,000 worth of Scapia Coins back when you shop or dine at international terminals in India.

How can you become eligible?

For Domestic Flights: You can unlock Airport Privileges in domestic airports when you spend ₹20,000 in a billing cycle (combined across your cards if you have both Visa and RuPay). Your privileges activate on your next statement date.

Here's how the timeline works: If your statement date is the 15th and you spend ₹20,000 between November 15 and December 14, your privileges activate on December 15.

What counts toward the ₹20,000: Everything except non-spend transactions like interest charges, fees, and EMI installments.

For add-on cardholders: Users of the Scapia Federal Add-on Credit Cards get their own eligibility. They need to spend ₹20,000 independently to unlock their privileges.

For International Flights: You’re eligible for airport privileges when you book an international flight worth ₹50,000 or more in a single booking on the Scapia app. Like domestic airport privileges, your rewards come in the form of Scapia Coins, – you get 100% rewards up to ₹2,000. The privilege can be accessed once you book your tickets on the app.

Limitations on Airport Privileges: You can use one privilege per airport visit.

If you’ve accidentally activated the lounge privilege but realized you're hungry, you can switch to another option on the app and pick something else. Once you claim your perk (for meals, shopping, or spa) or generate the QR code (for lounge), that's when the privilege gets locked in!

But before you activate your privilege, there’s one Critical Step.

The system needs to register your claim before the transaction hits. So don’t forget to activate your privilege on the app BEFORE you pay.

For meals, shopping, or spa: Activate first, then make your purchase with your Scapia card.

For lounge: Generate your QR code first, then walk up to the lounge.

If you forget to activate your privileges before you pay, you will be charged full price, without any Scapia Coins being credited to your account. But fret not – if you're still at the airport, you can activate your privileges and make another purchase to use the benefit.

When Can You Use Airport Privileges Again after Availing it?

If it's the same airport, wait 24 hours before claiming another privilege.

If it’s a different airport, You’ll have to wait just 1 hour.

For instance, if you’re flying from Delhi to Mumbai with a layover, you can use one privilege in Delhi, wait for an hour, use another in Mumbai during your layover.

Airport privileges work at departure airports only, not when you land. When you land, you're leaving the airport, not spending time there. But if you're catching a connecting flight, your connecting airport counts as departure for your next leg.
