Scapia Federal Add-On Credit Card

When you want to share your credit card with family, you have two options: hand over your card and deal with the hassle of forwarding OTPs and tracking every transaction, or get them an add-on card.
While the latter is the seamless way to share credit with family, the experience makes all the difference.
So when we designed the Scapia Federal Add-On Credit Card, we made sure it gives both the primary cardholder and add-on cardholder the convenience and delight that comes with the Scapia experience - all while giving the primary cardholder the control.
Read on to know how it works.
Independence without the hassle
Scapia Federal Add-On Credit Card removes the inconvenience of shared credit entirely. Each person gets the full Scapia experience with their own card, their own app, and access to the entire ecosystem, while you set the boundaries that work for your family.
Here’s how that translates to convenience:
Maybe your spouse wants to book flights for a weekend trip. They can simply open their Scapia app, browse flights, and book directly. They can also earn 20% Scapia Coins on that booking, just like you would. They can explore the Scapia Store, check out travel experiences, and manage their spending. The entire ecosystem is theirs to use.
Or your sibling is shopping online and wants to use their Scapia Federal Add-on card at check out. They then receive their OTP on their phone number, not yours. They complete the booking themselves, without waiting for you.
No forwarding OTPs. No "Can you check if that payment went through?" texts. No micromanaging their purchases.
The add-on members also have the ability to manage their card independently. They can block it, and change their PIN, and more – all on their own.
Visibility without the micromanaging
Independence for the add-on cardholder doesn't mean chaos for you.
When you invite someone for an Add-On Card, you set their credit limit upfront. The minimum is ₹20,000, and the maximum is your total available limit. Once set, that's what they can spend.
Every transaction they make shows up clearly in your app. You see where the money's going, when, and how much. And when the bill is generated, it is sent to you. It’s one consolidated statement with a single payment. So you handle repayments, they handle their spending.
You also get to decide how Scapia Coins work. Add-On Cardholders earn Scapia Coins on every transaction, but you choose whether they can use the Scapia Coins themselves or if the Coins stay pooled in your account.
Benefits that travel with you and your family
When you share your Scapia Federal Credit Card, you're not splitting benefits. You're extending them.
Zero forex markup, anywhere
Your parents and in-laws are in Paris. Your sibling's in Singapore. They all pay zero forex markup on international transactions, just like you do, without conversion fees, hidden charges.
Airport privileges they earn on their own
Just like your primary Scapia Federal Credit Card, its add-on counterpart gives holders access to airport privileges with a minimum spend of ₹20,000 on their limit. They enjoy all the perks like complimentary dining, shopping, spa services, and lounge access. For international travel, they can also get Scapia Coins back on airport spending when they book flights through the app.
Here's the important bit: eligibility is based on their own Add-On Card spends, not yours. They earn access through their own usage, which keeps it fair and independent.
Scapia Coins add up too!
Every transaction on a Scapia Federal Add-On Credit Card earns Scapia Coins at the same rate as your primary card, i.e.,:
10% on Visa eligible spends, 5% on eligible RuPay spends
20% on travel bookings made through the Scapia App
Your family's everyday spending (groceries, subscriptions, dining) starts accumulating Scapia Coins together. More cards, more spending, faster accumulation.
Scapia Coins can then be redeemed for travel bookings in the app. And you get to decide if the Coins stay pooled in your account or if can be redeemed by your family member.
How to get started?
You can extend your Scapia Federal Credit Card to your spouse, parents, in-laws, Siblings, or children (18 years or older). And you can add up to 3 members. There are no fees or credit checks or income proofs needed for them.
Share your Scapia Federal Credit Card in three steps:
Step 1: Invite them through your Scapia app!
Step 2: Get them to complete a quick, fully digital KYC process.
Step 3: Wait for the Scapia Federal Add-on Credit Card to arrive in 5 to 7 days.
(And while they wait, they can use their instant virtual card as soon as their cards are approved by simply downloading their app and setting it up!) Not a part of the Scapia Tribe?
