They're meant to offer real value, something that benefits you in a tangible way. But often, making the most of rewards is complicated.
Take points, for example. They're complex and often require lots of planning to make the most of it, requiring you to navigate to different platforms to redeem. Then there's cashback. It's straightforward: you spend, you get a percentage back to spend it on your regular expenses. It doesn't add up to something bigger.
So when we designed Scapia Coins, we wanted to keep it simple – easy redemption, no complex tracking, and lots of transparency, enabling a straightforward system that builds toward something you actually care about: travel.
Let's take a closer look.
What are Scapia Coins?
Scapia Coins are rewards you earn when you use your Scapia Co branded Credit Cards. Every eligible transaction you make with your Scapia card earns you rewards. At the end of your billing cycle, those rewards convert into Scapia Coins. The Coins sit in your app, building up, ready to be redeemed whenever you choose.
You can use them within the app to book flights, hotels, buses, trains, visas, experiences, group trips, and shop in the Scapia Store – all available within the app. The Coins can be adjusted against what you pay.
How do you earn them?
With every eligible spend, you earn Scapia coins, depending on the type of card on which you’re using.
Visa card: 10% rewards on eligible spends (minimum transaction: ₹20)
RuPay card: 5% rewards on eligible spends (minimum transaction: ₹500)
Travel bookings on the Scapia app earn you rewards too!You get 20% rewards on flights, hotels, buses, trains, visas, and experiences, and more (applies to both Visa and RuPay cards).
So if you're spending ₹1,000 on groceries with your Visa card, you earn 100 rewards. At the end of your billing cycle, those 100 rewards become 100 Scapia Coins, which translates to ₹20 in travel savings.
With a RuPay card, spending ₹10,000 on shopping earns you 500 rewards, converting to 500 Coins worth ₹100 toward your next trip.
Similarly, if you book a ₹20,000 flight through the Scapia app? You earn 4,000 rewards, which convert into 4,000 Coins, worth ₹800 that’s added to your coins kitty.
The more you use the card, the more Coins you accumulate. And over time, those Coins start to add up in a way that actually makes your travel cheaper.
Earn Scapia Coins for all transactions except the following
💸 Transaction value is less than ₹20
⚠️ Late fee or any other credit card charge
💳 Scapia card bill payments
🏧 ATM cash withdrawal
📲 Loading e-wallets
🎓 Education and school fees
🏠 Rent payments
🌍 Forex transactions

Where you can use them
Scapia Coins work in one place: inside the Scapia app, when you're booking travel. These include flights, hotels, buses, trains, visas, experiences, and travel-shopping.
When you're ready to book, just toggle on your Coins during checkout. They get applied right away and bring down what you need to pay. There's no cap on how many you can use. Got enough Coins to cover the whole booking? Great, it's yours without spending a rupee out of pocket. Don't have enough? No problem—they still work as a discount.
For instance, if you've saved up 25,000 Coins, it adds up to ₹5,000 in travel savings (i.e., 5 Scapia Coins make ₹ 1). If you're booking a ₹12,000 hotel stay, you can apply your Coins, and you'll only have to paying ₹7,000.
One system, one purpose
Scapia Coins are built for travel. That focus is what makes them work.
Your card and the app work together. You spend, you earn Coins, you book travel. The Coins are right there when you need them. No converting between platforms, no figuring out redemption options. It's a closed loop.
Most people spend consistently but travel occasionally. Scapia Coins connect those two things. Your everyday expenses build toward trips you're actually planning. Over time, that adds up to real savings on experiences you care about.
With Scapia Coins, travel won’t feel like something you have to save separately for. You’ll find yourself working towards your travel plans with every little transaction you make on your Scapia Federal or BOBCARD Credit Cards – be it your coffee runs, or your monthly subscriptions—they'll all add up to something bigger. You're not optimizing redemptions or decoding complex terms. You're just using your card like normal, and when the time comes to book that trip, you'll see exactly how much closer you've gotten without even trying!
